2. Information used by the app
Career game data
The current implementation stores player progress on the device. This can include the player’s chosen name and appearance, country and club, rank and level, gameplay statistics, virtual balance, equipment, match state, and training timers.
Preferences and notifications
The app can store preferences on the device, including notification choices. If you enable notifications, the operating system processes the permission and the app may schedule game reminders.
Advertising
Football Star Path includes the Unity Ads software development kit to provide optional, user-initiated rewarded advertisements. The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. Unity may collect and process information such as device identifiers, approximate location, device and operating-system information, advertising impressions and interactions, usage data, and performance information to deliver and measure advertisements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the user’s region and device settings, Unity may present consent or privacy choices and may limit advertising personalization. Users can access Unity’s privacy options through the privacy icon displayed with an advertisement. For more information, see Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
Support communications
If you contact support, the support operator receives the information you choose to send, such as your email address, phone number, device details, screenshots, and issue description.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to provide and maintain requested app features, save local progress and preferences, schedule notifications chosen by the user, provide advertising and rewards, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on one or more of the following: performance of a contract or steps requested by the user; the user’s consent, including for notifications or advertising choices where required; legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the app without overriding user rights; and compliance with legal obligations. Consent can be withdrawn through the relevant app, device, or advertising privacy controls, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
4. Sharing and service providers
The core football career profile is stored locally and is not sent to the services below merely because the user plays the game. Information may be handled by these providers when their corresponding features are used:
- Unity Technologies provides optional rewarded advertising and related measurement, fraud-prevention, and privacy controls. See Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
- Apple distributes the iOS app, processes App Store activity and device-level permissions, and may provide device backup or operating-system services selected by the user. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- Netlify is configured to host this static website and may process technical request and security information when the site is visited. See Netlify’s Privacy Statement.
- Google provides the email service used for support communications and processes messages sent to the published support address. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices and are expected to protect it consistently with applicable law. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a lawful transfer of the app, subject to appropriate protections.
5. International processing
Unity, Apple, Netlify, and Google may process information outside the user’s country. Their privacy notices describe their locations and transfer safeguards. Where required, providers may rely on adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
6. Retention and deletion
Career progress and preferences remain on the device until they are reset in the app, the app’s local data is cleared, or the app is removed, subject to backups controlled by the user or Apple.
Support messages are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last communication, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Unity, Apple, Netlify, and Google determine retention for information they process under their own policies and service requirements.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You may decline rewarded advertisements, use Unity’s privacy controls shown with advertisements, change notification permission in device settings, reset the football player from the app’s Settings screen, and remove the app to clear its local data. Device or cloud backups must be managed separately through the applicable platform settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to or opt-out from certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection or consumer-protection authority. Send a request to merdanefekalan@gmail.com. Only information reasonably necessary to verify the request will be requested. If a request is denied, you may reply to appeal and provide additional context. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
8. Children
Football Star Path is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 or to a higher minimum age where local law requires parental consent. The football career profile does not require an email address or online account. The app does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information through support should contact the publisher so an appropriate deletion request can be handled. The Unity Ads project is designated as a general-audience app that is not directed to children.
9. Website data
This website is static and includes no analytics, advertising, contact form, or non-essential cookies. When the site is hosted by Netlify, Netlify may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested page, referring page, timestamps, and security logs. Netlify controls its infrastructure logs and retention under its Privacy Statement and service terms.
